Commercial
I just heard the best commercial - there's a mystery "cougher" put out by this company that could be a man or a women (or child). If you see the person coughing and you offer them the cough drop (made by the company) then you may win $10k-$1mil.

I feel that if people believe the commercial, then the company will not only benefit from extra sales and word-of-mouth advertisement as people offer them to strangers, but also improve the good-samaritan behavior. If I didn't forget the name of the company as I was typing this blog, I'd definitely buy their cough drops just to reward them.

Thanks for the notice.
I'm not sure how much I'll be posting now because I'm usually very busy with work. So lack of much posts isn't some type of change of opinion, just lack of time. (I also moved away from Virginia and am generally happier with local politics in WA. For example, my employer extends almost all of the benefits to SO/partners. [IRS is mostly responsible for limits on some benefits] Though I heard that a few companies like AOL were trying to do their part in VA. :)

Somewhat on topic of your most recent post - I'm not sure giving voting power to high school students would help your cause as that demographic is usually more reactive and close-minde than "young adults". College does expand horizons for many people.

Thanks, I do not blame you for moving away from Virginia. Regarding the post, I not once said that we should have the right to vote - however, I am stating it is a problem because some of the issues coming up are affecting High School students directly. That is dangerous.

You have implied that this is something affecting a group that's not able to vote for themselves. But I congratulate you on doing the best thing that you could do with your age/resources/situation and getting the issue to the minds of the public/legislation.

Maybe i'll get motivated enough to devote the time to see what's happening in the local politics once again.
