Out of curiousity, have any of you who are now graduating looked into the short-term health insurance? So far my research shows Assurant as the cheapest one at $55/30days, $110/60 days (or so).

And here is a good essay as to why diamonds are NOT forever. Now what will the men do?

I'm on Assurant -- my dad's insurance expired when I turned 22, instead of when I graduated. Obnoxious. It's been pretty useless so far, though -- any costs are applied toward a deductible before they pay anything, and we haven't hit that yet, and it doesn't cover prescriptions.

For me it's more of a temporary thing to make sure I don't have to pay extreme health bills. Thankfully I have no prescriptions so far and will get WAY better coverage when I start working. :)

(ie. I need it for the 60 days of the summer in case I break a leg or something)
